Renee Zellweger Cropping a Few Things Off the Holiday To Do List

Renee Zellweger Photos

This is one girl that I just love to see out and about these days, as she was once considered one of the dowdiest women in Tinseltown after her homely appearance with the Bridget Jones Diary. And now that the movie made her a household name, her style seems to be almost effortless as she banishes that dowdy look and proves to the world that Bridget was just a character. It seems that no matter where or when she is spotted these days, she is simply knocking them dead. And here she is doing just that while doing a bit of grocery shopping for her holiday festivities. She was seen coming out of the Bay Cities Italian Deli with a bag full of goods looking radiant and happy, and not just because she looks fabulous and chic, but because of the holiday season. And what she is doing here with her look is showing that short hair can really work FOR you if you want to pull off an edgy carefree look this holiday season. And though I haven’t loved too many of Renee’s looks, this is one look that I have always loved on her, and out of all of her looks I think this one suits her the most.

You can get this look first by getting the right cut, so ask your stylist for longer length in the back and at your sides, but get some volume pumped into the top with shaggy layers cut into your crown. To style then, you can use some styling wax on towel dried hair, and blow dry your hair with a round bristle brush. This look is sleek, so you aren’t going to worry too much about volume here. When your hair is dried, spritz some antihumectant spray on your locks, and then run the flat iron over your entire head, bending the ends only slightly for some face framing style.

By using the flat iron, you will lock in the antihumectant so your hair stays straight and sleek all day long, and it also adds some extra shine to that gorgeous style. The blowout as well will give you the gorgeous movement that Renee has here in her hair, and this will keep you looking happy and carefree as you move through the holiday season.

Happy Thanksgiving Whitney Port!

Whitney Port Photos

The fabulous fashionista and DVF worker extraordinaire Whitney Port from the hit show “The City” is seen here showing just how much DVF made the right decision when they took this girl on. Whitney was spotted donning an 80’s ensemble in this season’s hottest lingerie inspired looks while enjoying a night out at Voyeur nightclub in Los Angeles. And as usual, she focused more on fashion than hair, as this girl with the high end bohemian taste let her outfit do the talking while she merely clipped her hair back in a loose and wavy half up and half down do. Though she is completely contemporary retro, she if following the hippy trend of not appearing immaculately styled, but for Whitney, it doesn’t seem to matter whether she is on the red carpet or hanging on the streets of New York, she always looks amazing. And it is this girl next door look that really seems to be the big trend right now, which should be a key to you when you are mastering your own signature style. A little bit of simple goes a long way here.

Whitney’s hair has been styled in the half up half down look, in a very casual manner that has no muss or fuss. And though she may look a little rumpled, the look seems to work with the rest of her style with an eclectic mix of lace and leather. This look is easy to accomplish with a very straight blow out, hang your head upside down when blowdrying to get the volume that Whitney has here, and simply pin back the top sections of your hair for an easy and casual look that still looks pulled together. You can run a wide inch barrel curling iron on your ends you leave down for a soft and sultry sexy wave that is both casual and elegant, no matter what look your attire is showcasing for the day.

Allessandro Ambrosio Sleeks it Out in New York City

Allessandro Ambrosio Photos
One look at this girl and there is no surprise that she is one of the world’s most sought after supermodels, and you can’t help but wonder if this pretty lady looks this good all the time. Well, considering it is her job to express fabulosity at every opportunity, we can only say that the chances are good that she is this picture perfect every single day. And here is one of the world’s most favourite supermodels waiting around an SUV in New York City biding out some time, and looking like she’s about to step off the curb, and onto the covers of Vogue while doing so. And though she has the fashion sense and the budget that some girls would kill for, you won’t have to go to such measures to get hair that looks this uber fab all the time.

To get the look that Allessandro has here, you want to start off with the same layered cut that she has here. Ask your stylist for large concave layers around your face as these layers will be used to frame your face and to also provide some volume to your luscious locks. Sleek and sexy with just a smidge of volume is the look you are going for here, so use some straightening serum on towel dried hair, and blow dry your hair with a flat paddle brush pulling your hair straight as you dry. Use a flat iron to sleek your hair out as much as you can. When you are flat ironing, you want to pin the top sections of your hair up first, and flat iron the bottom sections for maximum fullness and all over straightness.

After you have flat ironed your entire head, spritz your hair with some anti-humectant. Immediately following this, you will want to flat iron your hair again, and this will lock in the humectant, and give your hair some beautiful shine. It will also seal the cuticle and ensure that your hair stays straight and glam all night long. If you want to add just a hint of volume around your face, you can curl the ends of your layers with a wide barrel curling iron, this will still maintain that gorgeous shine, and give you a little bit of a flirty swing that will turn heads all day or all night long.

Lilo Goes Platinum

Lindsay Lohan Hairstyles
This is one Hollywood starlet that certainly does like to keep us guessing, doesn’t she? Whether it’s her hair color, drug of choice, or sexuality, she never does give away too much until the very last minute. Here she is seen resorting back to her platinum days just a few days ago as she was heading out for some salon love. To get this look, Lindsay had to sacrifice the better part of her day at the Andy Lecompte Salon in West Hollywood in order to tend to her newly bleached blonde locks. After her salon day, she was spotted changing into a quick change of clothes before heading to the airport to catch a flight, presumably to New York. And this is one fashionista thtat I don’t have a problem saying seems to look good in any hair color she chooses, and once again this blonde bombshell look is really working for her. When you add the sexy vixen style blowout, she is definitely one that can turn heads no matter where she is, or what her celebrity status might be. This color is one that you want to discuss with your stylist before you make any bold moves, as platinum is a tricky one to attain, and even trickier to maintain. Make sure you and your stylist are on the same page before she starts painting on the color. Once you have that worked out, you can get this voluminous hair very easily, though give yourself some extra time here.

To get this look, use texturizing shampoo and conditioner, and you will want to blow dry with a round bristle brush. Blow dry your hair about 95%, and when it is still slightly damp, you can set your hair in large sized Velcro rollers to create this wonderful volume that Lindsay has here, without the look of curls. Let your rollers set for about 30 minutes, and then blast some heat on them to finish the drying and lock in that volume. When your hair has cooled from this blast, take the rollers out and brush out your hair with your soft bristle brush. The end result? A lovely voluptuous mane with just enough wave and volume to look sexy, but not too much that you are over the top.
