Lindsay Lohan Glams the Snack Run

Lindsay Lohan Hairstyles

Ah yes, this girl can’t even do ugly when she is making a snack run. Though she certainly has been finding herself in some hot water these days, she still faces the world with a smile and some coke and Doritos to aid in the process. Here she is spotted after a Fourth of July party in Malibu making a quick corner store run for the ride home. And as usual she is all legs and grins, and showing off her gorgeous features with a bun pulled up nice and high with little concern for flyaways. But you don’t need to have natural Hollywood style looks or perfect bone structure to look as great as she does, because this look is much more effortless than you may think.

Yes, not only does this look effortless, but this look IS effortless to achieve with a quick and simple ponytail twist. You want to start off with clean shiny hair like Lilo has here, and use some texturizing shampoo and conditioner that will hold the look. Then, Lindsay has simply pulled back her hair in a sexy ponytail, and not fussed too much about flyaways or concise neatness as this is a bun that is tres chic by being tres minimal. Take your ponytail and twist it into a high bun at the back of your crown, and secure with a few bobby pins. You don’t want to fuss too much with product either here, as this clean and mussy look is the one you are going for. Lilo proves here that if you want to go super cas as well, you can do so, and do so however you like and have a sexy, chic, and elegant look you can take all day or all night.

Yes, Even Kate Hudson Has Bad Hair Days

Kate Hudson Bad Hair

There are women in Hollywood that can get away with fresh face here and there, or a sloppy updo or ponytail here or there, but it is moments like this that really prove who can…or who can’t…pull that off. Looks like Kate Hudson gets grumpy whenever her stylist takes the day off. Here she is being snapped getting into a waiting limo with a hot mess of wet hair. This is a familiar look, no? One we all experience just moments after getting out of the shower. So I have to wonder, how little time could she have taken to get ready? You don’t need a stylist to improve this look, a simple hairbrush will be a good start. This is one hairstyle that we certainly can’t recommend or provide any kind of hints or tips on, other than, don’t try this one yourself. Sometimes celebrities can get away with missing a hair brush on occasion, but this is really a rare occurrence, and not one that you want to try and get away with so soon after your exit from the shower stall. This is a girl that always looks drop dead gorgeous, but here she just looks worn out in all shapes and forms, and this is definitely a just got out of bed look that you certainly want to avoid. Granted, by hopping into a waiting limo there is the suggestion that she may be off to work to be styled elsewhere, but come on, really? Mental note, if there is even the slightest chance of a throng of cameras being outside your door in the morning, keep a hairbrush on your foyer table and just give it a whirl before you open that door.

Ah yes, We’ll Always Have Paris (to laugh at)

Paris Hilton new hairstyle

Are we being a little cruel? Or does she just leave the window of opportunity for mocking open a leeeeetle too often. Here we have our favourite media hungry socialite showing off her…Chanel bag…while out and about. I am loving the pink dress and the pink Chanel clutch to match, one which Paris Hilton has customized with a picture of Paul Iacono — the star of David Katzenberg’s new MTV show “The Hard Times of RJ Berger”. Outside of the fact that Katzenburg is her sister Nicky’s fiancé, not sure what that connection might be, me personally, I would customize Chanel a little more personally than that. Just sayin! But the dress which is cute enough I don’t think dear Coco meant her label to be worn quite so hoochily. But that’s Paris, no? How else would she get attention if she wasn’t flaunting what her plastic surgeon gave her. And for this night out she went easy on the hairstyling, and stepped out in a casual loose wave that complements…well nothing, but it just looks pretty and we will leave it at that. With just enough volume for sex appeal, this is a pretty easy and sexy look even if you aren’t wearing something that bares it all.

To get this look, use texturizing shampoo and conditioner, and you will want to blow dry with a round bristle brush. Blow dry your hair about 95%, and when it is still slightly damp, you can set your hair in large sized Velcro rollers to create this wonderful volume that Paris has here. Let your rollers set for about 30 minutes, and then blast some heat on them to finish the drying and lock in that volume. When your hair has cooled from this blast, take the rollers out and brush out your hair with your soft bristle brush. The end result? A lovely voluptuous mane with just enough wave and volume to look sexy, but not too much that you are over the top. Just be sure you are in fact wearing a top, and not telling all the way Paris is here.

Sarah Jessica Parker is Oh So Sexy in the City

Sex in the City 2 Hairstyles

With the premiere of her flick SATC 2 just days away, Sarah Jessica Parker is in full promo mode, and looking ever so fabulous in the process. Here she was spotted signing autographs from the backseat of a car on the promo circuit after interviewing with “Live with Regis and Kelly”. And as usual, she is pretty in pink, all smiles, with hair that is to die for. And as we know, here is a girl whose hairstyle seems to change with the wind, and they just keep getting better and better. We never really expected her to look prettier, but she is looking about as fabulous as it gets, with gorgeous platinum and butter scotch colored locks that have been styled into long and gorgeous waves. And with her character being the fashionista that she is, Sarah Jessica’s entire style is one that is definitely envied. And she can certainly pull it off. And if you haven’t guessed what the deal is with this hair style, then you may want to put some contemporary back into your locks as this long and loose look is today’s most gorgeous trend. It’s everywhere right now.

To get this look, start off by scrunching some pomade or volumizing mousse into your hair. Blow dry with a round bristle brush, or you can wind sections around your hair if you prefer. This winding effect will make your waves a little more swingy than usual. You can use a curling iron to set stronger waves once you have done this, but instead of clamping the iron onto your hair, wind the hair section around the barrel of the curling iron. This way the ends won’t curl as tight, and they will stick out just enough to give you this pretty tousled look. After you have finished curling, shake your hair out and finger comb it as you go through the day, and you will have long luscious waves lasting all day, and into the night.

Kirsten Dunst Remains as Awkward as Ever

Kirsten Dunst Pictures
It isn’t often that the word pretty or beautiful comes up in conversation with the name Kirsten Dunst, in fact “awkward” always seems more appropriate, but I have to say, she does it to herself. Here she is seen attending the screening of her directoral debut “Between teh Lines” during the 2010 Tribeca Film Festival at Village East Cinema. And I have to say, the one thing about Kirsten Dunst is that even on the red carpet she can never really pull off the glam that well. She is posing somewhat uncomfortably here, and I even wonder if she has had some work done, her face looks….different, no? But this is all well and good because as far as I am concerned she has certainly had worse days. This Mary Poppins style frock is one thing, but the new platinum locks and beauty routine are at least throwing her a few points. This hairstyle is not the worst she has had, and though her hair may be a little too fine for the wavy look, it is a relatively easy and sexy look to accomplish. The key to gorgeous waves is in the volume, so that is the first thing you never want to forget, even if you are working with fine hair like Kirsten is here.

To get this look, start off by scrunching some pomade or volumizing mousse into your hair. Blow dry with a round bristle brush, or you can wind sections around your hair if you prefer.
