Selena Gomez Long Hairstyle with Ombre Hair Coloring

Selena Gomez Long Hairstyle

The red carpet at the Teen Choice Awards was filled with celebrity superstars. They all looked fabulous in their designer duds and perfect hair and makeup looks. Selena Gomez really wowed the crowd in a pink dress, smoky eyes, and a long sleek hairstyle. You can easily recreate Selena’s fresh-faced summery look by following these simple tips.

One of the most appealing things about Selena’s look is her trendy ombre hair color. The key to perfecting this color is making sure that you don’t make your ends too brassy. Tell your stylist that you want a caramel color at the ends to avoid getting orangey tones in your hair. Wear you ombre shade in a sleek, straight style like Selena’s and add a shine serum for a beautiful shiny finish.

For a more subtle smoky eye, try not to extend the shadow up above the crease of your eye. This will make your eyes look dark and sultry without looking too dramatic. Remember to always wear a paler lip color when you are adding a lot of dark shadow to your eyes. This is going to prevent your makeup from looking too dramatic and overdone.

Selena’s look is great for summer and it is definitely something that would work perfectly at the beach or by the pool because you can easily take a shower and head out for the night with the same makeup on. If you use waterproof makeup you would only need minimal touchups prior to going out to dinner.

Yes, Even Kate Hudson Has Bad Hair Days

Kate Hudson Bad Hair

There are women in Hollywood that can get away with fresh face here and there, or a sloppy updo or ponytail here or there, but it is moments like this that really prove who can…or who can’t…pull that off. Looks like Kate Hudson gets grumpy whenever her stylist takes the day off. Here she is being snapped getting into a waiting limo with a hot mess of wet hair. This is a familiar look, no? One we all experience just moments after getting out of the shower. So I have to wonder, how little time could she have taken to get ready? You don’t need a stylist to improve this look, a simple hairbrush will be a good start. This is one hairstyle that we certainly can’t recommend or provide any kind of hints or tips on, other than, don’t try this one yourself. Sometimes celebrities can get away with missing a hair brush on occasion, but this is really a rare occurrence, and not one that you want to try and get away with so soon after your exit from the shower stall. This is a girl that always looks drop dead gorgeous, but here she just looks worn out in all shapes and forms, and this is definitely a just got out of bed look that you certainly want to avoid. Granted, by hopping into a waiting limo there is the suggestion that she may be off to work to be styled elsewhere, but come on, really? Mental note, if there is even the slightest chance of a throng of cameras being outside your door in the morning, keep a hairbrush on your foyer table and just give it a whirl before you open that door.

Ah yes, We’ll Always Have Paris (to laugh at)

Paris Hilton new hairstyle

Are we being a little cruel? Or does she just leave the window of opportunity for mocking open a leeeeetle too often. Here we have our favourite media hungry socialite showing off her…Chanel bag…while out and about. I am loving the pink dress and the pink Chanel clutch to match, one which Paris Hilton has customized with a picture of Paul Iacono — the star of David Katzenberg’s new MTV show “The Hard Times of RJ Berger”. Outside of the fact that Katzenburg is her sister Nicky’s fiancé, not sure what that connection might be, me personally, I would customize Chanel a little more personally than that. Just sayin! But the dress which is cute enough I don’t think dear Coco meant her label to be worn quite so hoochily. But that’s Paris, no? How else would she get attention if she wasn’t flaunting what her plastic surgeon gave her. And for this night out she went easy on the hairstyling, and stepped out in a casual loose wave that complements…well nothing, but it just looks pretty and we will leave it at that. With just enough volume for sex appeal, this is a pretty easy and sexy look even if you aren’t wearing something that bares it all.

To get this look, use texturizing shampoo and conditioner, and you will want to blow dry with a round bristle brush. Blow dry your hair about 95%, and when it is still slightly damp, you can set your hair in large sized Velcro rollers to create this wonderful volume that Paris has here. Let your rollers set for about 30 minutes, and then blast some heat on them to finish the drying and lock in that volume. When your hair has cooled from this blast, take the rollers out and brush out your hair with your soft bristle brush. The end result? A lovely voluptuous mane with just enough wave and volume to look sexy, but not too much that you are over the top. Just be sure you are in fact wearing a top, and not telling all the way Paris is here.

Heidi Montag Gets Real. Riiiiiiiiggggggghhhht.

Heidi Montag Bikini Photos

The very thought about anything regarding this girl being “real” is laughable in itself, but at least we have to give her some props for not hiding her plasticity. Just recently this girl has publicly dished on her addiction to plastic surgery, and if you look at her here, it seems like she had no choice. Yes, she actually thinks she looks pretty, and if you can ignore the fact that she looks nothing like herself, you almost want to say she does in a very dummy in the department store window kind of way. Yes, she has spent the better part of last year or so not only under the radar, but under the knife, and one of the reasons’ we haven’t seen too much of her is because well, surgery recovery can be a little lengthy at times. But we aren’t here to discuss the series of TEN procedures that included a mini brow lift, Botox in the brow and frownline, nose job revision, cheek fat injections, nasolabial folds and lips, chin reduction, neck lipo, ear pinning, waist lip, hips and thighs lip, behind augmentation, and the obvious augmentation on the cup size. No, we are here to dish her hair. Which may be the only thing real about her left, or at least we can rest assured that it is still on her head, because she’s probably herself forgotten what her natural color is. But this style IS a pretty one with all other issues aside, and a very easy one to maintain, even when you are in the sun all day. Anti humectants will be your friend here.

This is a simple straighten and go, and load up on the product to protect those pretty locks. Use some straightening serum on towel dried hair, and blow dry your hair with a flat paddle brush pulling your hair straight as you dry. Use a flat iron to sleek your hair out as much as you can. When you are flat ironing, you want to pin the top sections of your hair up first, and flat iron the bottom sections for maximum fullness and all over straightness. After you have flat ironed your entire head, spritz your hair with some anti-humectant. Immediately following this, you will want to flat iron your hair again, and this will lock in the humectant, and give your hair some beautiful shine. It will also seal the cuticle and ensure that your hair stays straight and glam all day long in the sun.
