One thing many fans of The Hills star Lauren Conrad love about her is her hair. And even though she has the most simple hairstyle, she always manages to do something versatile with it and look different, fresh and pretty each and every time. Here she is at the grand opening pool party at the Wet Republic in Las Vegas, and she is sporting a look that is anything but new to us. But that does not mean this is a boring style, it is this fresh and pretty bohemian look that only adds to Lauren’s ethereal beauty. This is a very pretty look that anyone with long hair can accomplish.
Start off with some texturizing shampoo and conditioner and this will give your hair the bend it needs. You can then run some volumizing mousse from roots to tips. Blow dry your hair with a round bristle brush, and pay attention to the roots, lifting them as you blowdry. This will give you some pretty volume without too much plump.
Once your hair is dry, you can take a 1 ½” curling iron and run it through 2 inch sections of your hair. Coil your hair around the iron as opposed to running it over, as this is less damaging to your hair. Hold the iron for only a few seconds and pull it out for some nice soft waves. Part your hair down the middle once you are finished, and take a section from your front to pin back.
Before you twist, spritz just a smidge of hair spray on and this will hold your side piece. Twist gently and loosely, you don’t want it too tight as ethereal and soft is the key. Pin your section at the back of your head just behind your ear for this soft and pretty look that Lauren perfects each and every time.
