The 14th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards gave the first look into the red carpet trends of 2008 and it certainly was a great look. If nothing else was proved by the fashions displayed on the red carpet, strapless is in.
Stunning female stars from nearly every talent genre, were out in full swing. Everywhere the camera turned there was another beautiful star in a strapless dress. Kyra Sedgwick, Dana Delaney, Laura Leighton, January Jones, Sandra Oh, Vinessa Shaw, Katrina Bowden, Cate Blanchett, Nicolette Sheridan and Rebecca Romijn are just a few of the big named stars who showed their shoulders off at the Screen Actors Guild Awards.
Among the fashion choices, a few stars stood out brighter than some others. Teri Hatcher, for instance, word a perfectly fitted, strapless dress with soft, large flowers, Complete with a bit of jeweled edging, Hatcher set the precedence for what stars should be wearing this year.
Following the lead of Teri Hatcher was Angelina Jolie. Complete with partner Brad Pitt on her arm, Jolie epitomized beauty on the red carpet. Her dress was as near perfect as any seen on any red carpet. Layer after layer of flowing browns, tans, off whites and black, the dress draped her in just the right way to hide every inch of her body, yet breath beauty with every step.
If the red carpet at the Screen Actors Guild Awards is any hint, Hollywood is pulling out all of the fashion stops this year. The clear front runner for celebrity dresses are strapless and flirty!
