Here is the always beautiful, always glamorous, Carrie Underwood preparing for her hot performance the other night on the 2008 American Idol finale. Carrie was dressed to the nines in this gorgeous glittery cocktail dress by Zuhair Murad. She accessorized the dress with jewels by Chopard and a clutch by Daniel Swarovski. And this should come as no surprise to you, but Carrie was recently voted as the most popular American Idol yet. In an AOL television poll, Carrie won 54% of the vote over her fellow Idol winners, with Kelly Clarkson coming in second place. Kelly’s popularity ranked at 26%, so her second place even pales in comparison. But given that Carrie Underwood has been sweeping Grammies under her arm left right and center since her big title win on American Idol, this is definitely no shock to anyone. And she’s gorgeous too, and I think it’s safe to say she’s beat Kelly by a landslide there as well.
