Celebrities Serve Christmas Dinner at the Los Angeles Mission Annual Christmas Event

Jennifer Love Hewitt and fiance, Ross McCall, served thousands of meals and gave out more than 1,000 gifts to the cities neediest children at the Los Angeles Mission’s annual Christmas event. The menu included rotisserie chicken, glazed ham, three-cheese macaroni, mixed vegetables, dinner rolls, cranberry relish and chocolate cake for dessert. Santa was on hand to greet the children and pass out gifts donated by area businesses and individuals.
Hewitt, who stars in the TV show “Ghost Whisperer,” was among about 400 volunteers who helped out at the Christmas event including Melissa Joan Hart, Zack Ward, and Brandon Molale. The Los Angeles Mission, at 303 E. 5th Street, provides services to thousands of homeless men, women and children on Skid Row.
